The Lowndes Park Masterplan!

We are fundraising to spearhead the redesign of Lowndes Park. We strongly believe that the park needs a new Masterplan to refresh and rejuvenate it to continue to thrive in the twenty-first century.

Did Chesham have a Windmill?

Most references to the windmill at Lacey Green, near Princes Risborough, including the Chesham history books by Clive Birch and George Piggin, state categorically that it was built in 1650 at Chesham, and stood here for its first 170 years.

Wildlife and special trees

The park is a great place to see a variety of wild plants and animals. At the top of the park you can often hear green woodpeckers and see red kites in flight.
